Your go-to dumpster rental service
We provide services to Watkins Glen, NY
Watkins Glen is the Schuyler County seat, a village of about 1,800 people at the southern end of Seneca Lake, known for Watkins Glen State Park and its 19 waterfalls and for racing that goes back to the first road race in 1948. We help local homeowners and landlords with kitchen and bathroom remodels, roofing, garage and basement cleanouts, and yard cleanup. Storm cleanup comes up here too, since the village has a documented flood history, including the July 1935 Finger Lakes flood and flash flooding on downtown streets in June 2015.
A few tips before your dumpster arrives. A driveway is usually the easiest spot, and a sheet of plywood under the container helps protect the pavement. If the only space is on a village street, call the Village of Watkins Glen office and ask whether a permit is needed. Keep debris level with the top of the container, never overfill it, and ask us ahead of time about any materials that cannot go in, such as paint, chemicals or tires.

Customer reviews
What customers are saying.
I’ve had plenty of dumpster rentals but none quite like Joey’s! Aside from the professionalism, the ease of scheduling and swift responses made booking with them a no brainer. They dropped off a clean dumpster at the time promised and picked up the dumpster the same way. The area was left clean with no sign of debris or that a dumpster was ever there. Hands down best service I have received and will use them again!

Frequently asked questions
Something we didn’t cover? Call 607-479-7955 and we’ll sort it out.
What type of waste is not allowed in the dumpster?
While our dumpsters can hold a wide variety of waste, we cannot accept hazardous materials, oil, liquid, paint, asbestos, or yard waste.
What happens if I exceed the weight limit on the dumpster?
With good organization and proper packing, you may exceed the weight provided in the original rental price. We charge $0.07 per pound over the weight provided.
Do I have to be present for the dumpster delivery?
Yes. It is Joey’s Dumpster Rental policy for an adult to be present on delivery. This is important so we can fully communicate the location of the dumpster, items allowed and not allowed, and any special requests.
Is there a delivery fee?
Delivery is free within 20 driving miles of our yard in Horseheads, NY. Beyond that, it’s $5 for each mile past the 20, one way. For example, a delivery 25 miles away is $25. We’ll confirm the exact amount before you book.
What types of payment does Joey’s Dumpster Rental accept?
Book online and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through our secure Stripe checkout. You can also call us to pay by phone, or arrange Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, cash or check. All payment is due prior to the dumpster being delivered.
How does online booking work?
Pick your size, rental length and preferred delivery date, then pay securely through Stripe. At checkout you’ll enter your delivery address and phone number.
